The series brilliantly captures the struggles and absurdities of trying to find a partner, combining real-world dating statistics with exaggerated, comedic scenarios. While the concept of "konkatsu" (marriage hunting) might be unfamiliar overseas, readers everywhere can relate to the frantic quest for the "perfect partner" and the comedic disasters that ensue when desperation sets in. One cautionary note: reading this manga as a single person versus as a married person will leave you feeling completely different emotions.
